Every now and then, a message comes through that truly stops us in our tracks. Usually, we write these stories ourselves, but this time, we had to share it just as it was sent to us.
This is what heirloom jewellery is all about. Not much else to say - this story says it all.

"Words cannot describe how in love I am with this beautiful piece you have created, no words but perfection.
This ring has a lot of significance for me, first of all, my maiden is Gallop (I know, and yes I’m serious). I got married to my husband last December and am in the process of changing my name (it’s so much fun, I love how long it’s taking).
It’s bittersweet because I feel a connection to my surname with my dad - he’s my best friend, and I don’t have any brothers or sisters. We are thick as thieves, and my mum passed away in 2019 pretty suddenly. One of her favourite things was jewellery; she had a white velvet jewellery box with the most gorgeous (and somewhat ugly) vintage heirlooms from her family and ancestors,
passed down that she kept, full of memories and stories!
Unfortunately this went missing when she passed and I’ll never get it back, so I’ve been on a mission to create my own heirlooms with my own stories and memories to hopefully pass down to my children and eventually their children and so on.
This piece has brought me so much joy, and I just wanted to express to you guys how grateful and thankful I am for you creating this beautiful ring for me. It has its own story now and it’s made me so happy."
